Your Opportunity:
Taylor Communications, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 2nd Shift Press/Print Operating Technician to join the team at our Radcliff, KY facility. In this role, you will set up and operate print production equipment while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Work Authorization:

Your Shift:
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45 p.m.–11:15 p.m. Overtime may be required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Accurately follow detailed instructions from job orders, identify potential errors or problems, and take prompt action to correct them.
- Set up and adjust press equipment for production runs according to job specifications.
- Monitor products for quality throughout each job run and verify details against specifications.
- Monitor equipment during production and report mechanical problems to Maintenance as needed.
- Start and run jobs according to the production schedule.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
- Meet established standards for production output, waste, and spoilage.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient shift changeovers.
- Complete required production logs and paperwork accurately.
You Must Have:
- Mechanical and technical skills or aptitude.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization.
- Ability to operate equipment and meet established production and quality standards.
- Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions and job orders.
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members.
- Strong attention to detail.
Requirements Within This Position:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials.
- Frequently required to move inside the facility.
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds through lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.
We Would Also Prefer:
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
