Your Opportunity: Taylor Warehousing & Distribution is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker Kitting Department to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility.
Your Shift:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday with overtime as required including some weekends.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assemble products and components into kits according to work orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and customer specifications.
- Verify product quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging requirements before assembly.
- Maintain accuracy in kit assembly to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Label, package, and stage completed kits for shipment or storage.
- Record production and inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other tracking tools.
- Perform quality inspections during and after kit assembly.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all company safety policies.
- Assist with inventory counts, replenishment activities, and material movement as needed.
- Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and quality goals.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and customer-specific requirements.
Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties
Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials
Fills requisitions and orders
Packs, crates, and ships products and materials to distribution center, departments, or assembly line
May operate forklift
You Must Have:
Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments
Familiar with basic computer operations
Basic Math and Reading Skills
Ability to work as a team member and independently
We Would Also Prefer:
Prior warehouse/receiving experience
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred with 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
